Retreat Commitments
Below are the retreat commitments that will be shared on the Welcome Call. These commitments are intentional to create safety in this sacred, group container. If you have any questions or concerns about the commitments, I would love to hear from you. Feel free to connect with Dani prior to the retreat or at anytime during the retreat if needed.
Honor confidentiality. The expectation is that things shared during this sacred, retreat weekend is to be kept confidential. This is vital to creating safety within the group container to support vulnerable shares and authentic, self-expression.
Showing up on time and showing up fully within the time frame of the Circle (opening to closing). If at any time you need to leave during our group interactions, please ask for what you need and honor your boundaries at the time.
During Circle I may use a timer. This timer allows us to create equal time and space for each of us to share. When the timer goes off, you do not need to end abruptly, but this is your signal to close your share.
We are going to practice not giving one another feedback unless asked. This helps honor the experience of the person that shared. This also allows the individual that shared to ask for feedback or advice if desired. As the ones that witness we can celebrate what she said so she feels seen, heard and valued.
Respecting others even if you don’t agree with them. We all don’t hold the same beliefs and we each have vastly different personal histories. We invite in the energy of “all parts of you are welcome here” and meeting parts of ourselves and others with unconditional love.
What to Bring…
Below are a few packing suggestions and gentle reminders to support you in preparing for our time together.
Most importantly: there is no right way to arrive here. You do not need to perform, have anything figured out or show up as any version of yourself other than where you truly are.
A few things you may want to bring:
Comfortable clothing you can easily move and rest in
Layers for warm days and cooler evenings outdoors
Walking shoes or comfortable shoes for nature time
Swimsuit if you’d like to enjoy the water/cold plunge/sauna
Bug spray and/or tick repellent for time in the woods
A journal and plenty of pens for reflection and integration
Water bottle
Any comfort items that help you feel grounded or supported
And something I’d especially love to invite…
Bring an outfit, jewelry, accessories, makeup or adornments that help you feel most embodied, expressive, playful or connected to self. This can be as simple as you’d like.
You’re also welcome to bring anything your inner child might delight in——-special adornments, cozy items, art supplies, sentimental pieces or anything that helps you feel more connected to joy, creativity and self-expression.
Please remember: this retreat is not about becoming someone else. It’s about creating enough safety and space to gently return to yourself.
